CryoClinix has recently returned from Steven Gerrard’s Ettifaq Club after installing a 2 person electric cryotherapy chamber, which easily cools down to -110℃.
Offering genuine Whole Body Cryotherapy (WBC) unlike many other manufacturers, the player’s whole body including (importantly) the head, is exposed to the low temperatures providing the maximum physiological response. The 2 person chamber was an ideal choice for the club, being fully automated and pre-programmed for operational times. The chamber can smoothly perform the 3 minute treatments for over 14 hours without a break, all with 24/7 remote access.
This is the first cryotherapy chamber of its type within the Saudi Pro League, and specifically installed to cope with the aggressive climatic conditions of the area.
Pre installation works required construction of the cryo room with its glass walls and sliding doors, as well as incorporating power supply, AC, dehumidification and air flow. In my opinion, the cryo room is without doubt the best of its type anywhere in the world. A benchmark for other clients operating in such hot and humid environments, and I congratulate Ettifaq in its foresight in approving such a climatic controlled area to operate the chamber from.
The cryo unit will be used for quicker player recovery from training sessions, game time and managing pre-existing soft tissue injuries, as well as providing various other wellness benefits such as improved sleep.
