With chambers capable of smoothly operating continuously for over 14 hours a day without a break, the ability to operate for such long periods allows you to maximise the chambers usage throughout the day. From a business perspective, irrespective of whether you are a commercial business or an elite sports team, long periods of uninterrupted access provides maximum benefits for your players, your patients, or your paying customers.
By use of Skin Temperature Technology ™ (STT) and having the chamber cooled down to -110ºC, the patient’s skin temperature can drop by over 15ºC on both the calf and the chest. This is all achieved after a simple 2 ½ minute, painless, non invasive treatment where the patient listens to their favourite music selected via the built in Alexa system. This reduction of the skin temperature is essential for the patient to receive all the physiological benefits of an effective cryotherapy treatment.
CryoClinix operate 1, 2 and 4 person electric cryotherapy chambers, allowing the clinic to choose the best product for the available space required. Our 2 and 4 person chambers have a pre and main chamber, where the 1 person, due to its very small footprint does not.
Some cryo based clinics use a 1 person chamber, with the temperature advertised at best being -85ºC. From July 2024 CryoClinix will be using a -100ºC 1 person chamber, believed to be the coldest 1 person chamber in the world.
